Warranty Repairs

If you believe you have a warranty but are unsure how to proceed, see below.

Manufacturer Warranty:

Warranties typically lasts for the first full year after date of purchase.

  • You must have either a copy of the original purchase receipt or a factory concession must be provided.
    • If you don't have a receipt, contact your manufacturer for a warranty concession; if they  open a concession, a receipt is not needed.
  • To begin service, you must use a factory authorized servicer.
     

Hollis TV is authorized for most major brands.

Some manufacturers do not offer a full year for manufacturer warranties.  You will have to check with your TV's manufacturer to see if you have a full year or not.  Usually this applies only to TVs of economy sizes.

Extended Warranty:

Purchased warranties begin on the day after the Manufacturer warranty expires.

You must contact you extended warranty company to open a claim for service.  Failure to open a claim prior to repair can result in your claim being voided depending on the warranty company.

The warranty company will dispatch your claim to a service center who will then call you directly.
